Fairmount's Mojo

This is the sort of thing that explains why visitors to Fairmount have this habit of chipping off pieces of the tombstones of James Dean, even though the guy could never have touched them. As the author of the entry noted, Frankly, some of this sounds pretty ridiculous — a sort of inflated market version of cargo cult science.

But I can't knock it, can I? This sort of thing is the basis of Fairmount's tourism, keeping the town active in a time when most of the citizenry is old; few are working at more than sustenance wages; and the town itself is slowly falling to pieces, a shadow of what it once was.
