Spring Vacation 2012

This is the mid-point of my spring vacation this year. I had no plans to visit anywhere this time, so the vacation is turning out to be prosaic.

On Saturday I mowed my own lawn. I also visited the house of my sister the teacher to feed her cats. The lawn was a blow to the eyes! I had to mow it the next day, using Madre's mower, before the town council went after her. The next day I also mowed Madre's with my own mower.

On Monday I did bank stuff and little else (besides Minecraft!). On Tuesday I cleaned out my car; then I went with my sister the editor on her errants (including being the last of her siblings to get glasses) and on mine (copies of minutes to the Friends of the Library for the last two months, for that evening's meeting).

Wednesday was a more busy day, with the long-overdue cleaning out of my shed. I took the cardboard and scrap metal to the recycling place. I took the middle lawn mower to the local helping hands place, leaving the older mower (it's still sturdy and useful) and the new Fiskars one.

Madre's cat Sugarpuss finally got his cone restraint taken off. He is still in recovery, though, because Madre now has to teach him to stay off the dining room table (where he was put to feed him antibiotics). I helped fold up his cage to take back to the vet.
