Cleaning a Garage and Other Things

This past Sunday was not a day of rest. There was yard work, but first I helped move couches and doors out of the garage of my sister the editor. The junk was going into a nearby rented storage shed. During this I have learned that the garage must go in order for contractors to work on her house's sorry foundation. It is just as well because the garage, like the rest of the house, was what the family calls reverendized, after the previous owner, a preacher who wrongly thought he was a do-it-yourself expert.
