Summer Vacation 3a

This Monday was the only work day this week. I finished the new print job release stations, and got an iMac ready. But I will not be at work to install any of them this week. I will probably get cell phone calls for help, though.

Well, it is official. The rock gnome with the Marine seal is gone. My neighbors have moved out. And, contrary to my fears, it looks like a buyer has already been found for the house. A handyman came by this evening to do some minor fix-ups.

This week I will go to my first convention in over a decade or so. (The last one was an InConjunction back in the 1990's, when Star Trek Voyager was still on the air. I remember seeing Mr. Richard Herd there.) I am going to GenCon, not to do table games, but to meet Lexxy Douglass, the only one of the twelve contestants of last year's web show Strip Search to visit Indianapolis. Of course, it helps that she has family who lives in Carmel-By-The-Road. I just hope that I do not make an ass of myself and invite a visit from Professor Lexxy.
