Summer Vacation 3b

The weekday parts of my last summer vacation are about over. I did a couple of day trips to Indy, both related to GenCon, the last of which I will talk about later.

Madre's device is doing its job in healing the deep sore on her foot. I am told it is halfway healed. Madre can even walk up and down stairs now.

My sister the ex-teacher is back from somewhere in Rhode Island. She took home the boxes she shipped to Madre's via UPS, while I mowed Madre's lawn.

My policeman-and-family neighbors are not the only ones who moved out. Another family (who had a dog named Payton) also moved out of the house on Buckeye and Third. All the play equipment has been cleared out. Evidently the guy was sick and tired of fighting with some nearby SOB who thinks the guy is not raising his kids right. The fool even called the cops on the neighbor. It is not like it is any of the SOB's business. It looked like neighbor was doing a better job than some people I can think of (but won't tell), esp. since it seemed like one of the kids was autistic. The neighborhood (and the town in general) is beginning to be a real pain, when the area is in such a political and economic mess that nobody ever sticks around for long.
