Point Prometheus

This level holds a library and museum which may have once covered the whole level. After the war broke out, however, most of the level was converted into a processing center, where the little girls of Rapture are made into Little Sisters and conditioned to trust the Big Daddies and nobody else. It is also where the Big Daddies are made.

You give Fontaine chase, but he locks himself inside the Museum. The only way to open the door is to have a Little Sister unlock it. The only way they will do that for you willingly is for you to become a Big Daddy. Becoming one is the sole quest of this level, in which you need to find the following parts.

You are wondering what those boots are doing in the library? So was Suchong, who complained that this sort of bull•••• never happened under Fontaine. In fact, while Suchong was pleased with working for Ryan at first, he became disillusioned when Ryan turned out to be cheap. But what do you expect from a businessman? It was Ryan's parsimony that was one of the causes of Rapture's collapse.

Fontaine haranges you, and aggressors and security attack you, during your quest. Deal with them as best you can, and before you know it, your suit is complete, and you become a Big Daddy. Security (what you have not hacked or destroyed) ignores you. Aggressors give you a wide berth. Those splicers who play dead will stay dead, making them easy targets.

You finish this level by banging on the vent next to the Museum door with your wrench. A Little Sister comes out, opens the door from the inside, and walks next to you as you reach the hatch to enter the Musuem.

Note: Now that you have a Big Daddy suit on, you can now revisit other levels in order to explore them. The aggressors will not bother you.
