Hardware Drivers

The restoration CDs for a Gateway workstation have hardware drivers for both Windows 9x and Windows NT/2000/XP.

After you installed and updated Windows 2000:

1. Insert the first restoration CD in the CD drive.
2. The Gateway Installation Utility will appear.
3. Click on the Automatic Installation button or tab.
4. Choose which component drivers to install. Press Install.
5. Gateway Auto-Install will install each driver in the list that appears on the screen. It may restart the computer one or more times.
6. When the installs are done, press OK.
